BULK FEEDERS and Cyclones
Shown on the left is a bulk feeder under construction and below on site in Western Australia
These photos show 3 various cap Cyclones (de accelerators) in customers factories.
Cyclones are placed above a cap hopper and its purpose is to slow the caps down when feed along a delivery pipe from a cap bulk feeder/blower.
Our bulk feeders come a range of capacities and are constructed in the main from stainless steel and engineering plastics. The caps are transported from the main storage area by belt and feed into an air chute which is supplied with air by an internal fan fitted under the cap storage area. A belt system is much better than using a vibrating unit as it gives a very constant cap feed and is much much quieter. Everything is self contained in the unit and only requires a 3 ph 415v power supply and a control signal from a PLC for instance.
